As patrons of the goddess Hel, the spirit master can summon spirits of the dead to fight on their behalf. The powerful focus damage shield in the summoning line is amazingly effective against monsters, while the very potent suppression line, with it's area effect con/str debuff and PBAoE spell make it the most commonly specced, due to it's prowess in both PvE and RvR. The darkness line has numerous debuffs and life taps for ranged damage, as well as AoE crowd control. Teamed with a good healer, "SMs" dominate both RvR and PvM with stun and PBAoE tactics.
