Warlocks are a versatile midgard caster. They must spend a great deal of time preparing their chamber spells before casting, but once prepared, they can unleash their magic instantly until their chambers are expended. Beyond this, a warlock can choose many methods of casting his magic: Uninterruptedly and rapidly at a huge power cost and low damage output, slowly but at great range, slowly but casting two spells at the same time, or slowly but free of power cost. Warlocks enjoy very high utility , and can cast nearly every type of damage spell found in DAoC, but after a round of serious nerfs, are the lowest damage output caster in DAoC, making them largely undesirable for groups, and unable to solo well.
